Hale And Hearty - Boston

I ordered 3 medium soups using DoorDash from Hale and Hearty. They made us wait an hour for our order and then cancel it. Why not call us and tell us they wouldn?t be fulfilling our order instead of having us wait an hour? Like how could it take you an hour to determine you can?t fulfill an order... i?ve been going to hale and hearty for maybe 7-8 years in NYC and have seen the process of them scooping soup into cup. It doesn?t take more than a few minutes... i?ll pass on order from this establishment again. Hopefully I?ll find a better hale and hearty to spend my money on.

The soups and salads are yummy, nice wide selection of options, and staff is really nice. However PLEASE TURN YOUR MUSIC DOWN! I shouldn't have to scream my order and have to ask staff to repeat what they said multiple times. It's honestly stressful sitting here to eat. Either turn the music down or please play something more calm like jazz, lo-fi, anything but the clubby loud music you're playing now.

This is my first Hale and Hearty experience. With large portions for the soup and salad combo, it seems that this is the most affordable, aka bang for your buck . I had the Avacado Green Goddess and the New England Clam Chowder. The chowder comes with crackers or bread. The salad comes with bread.

Delicious soup. Very clearly labeled foods in regards to dietary restrictions and preferences, bonus points on my book when I don't have to painstakingly read and ask if a food item is vegetarian. Friendly staff. Will definitely come back.

What do you expect when you go to a soup and salad place for a salad? Crisp, fresh greens to start with. This is not at all what I got! Honestly. The choices for salad toppings were ok but the greens were yellow and wilted and soggy in some cases. The cucumbers that come with it were so transparent and limp like they'd been sitting in water for days. Edamame and asparagus we so small you couldn't taste them, when you could find them. I could go on and on but you get my drift. This was the worst salad I've ever had! And for the price!....If I'd eaten in, I'd have returned it immediately and left. So disappointing!! The soup varieties looked very good. So good in fact I couldn't decided. But now I'm hesitant to go back and try them in case they are just as bad as the salads.
