Great coffee and atmosphere. I typically get a hot or cold latte and they are very good and consistent! Typically quiet during the day with a fairly large seating area, so a nice place to get some work done. There’s also decent power outlet coverage inside. I would say they do have a somewhat limited food/pastry menu as compared to places nearby. But overall, I highly recommend!
This is the best espresso I had in Boulder out of like 6 places I tried. It was a medium roast level, no acidity, naturally sweet. The barista was very nice and pretty. Outdoor seating was wonderful, and the ambiance in general was very nice. There was a little spot I think they'd use for live music, but nothing was playing when I went. Highly recommend!
My friend gave me a hard time for only tipping the barista 15%. The interaction was so brief. He didn’t ask about my day or even make eye contact. I didn’t care, I was actually relieved. I wasn’t feeling social anyways. At the same time I didn’t feel the need to tip him more than 15% for less than 10 seconds of his time. Later that day I went to the grocery store with the same friend. At this point I had my coffee and was feeling more social. When we were checking out, the grocery clerk was so friendly. She greeted us with a huge smile and started asking us about our day. She seemed to show genuine interest. When she finished scanning and bagging our groceries, she smiled and wished us a good day. I didn’t leave her a tip and my friend thought that was okay. Anyway, the Laughing Goat made me re-think the way I tip. They also serve delicious drinks.
A bit transactional and the chai is mediocre. Sherpa brand but not a spicy Bhakti as I was told was here. Cannot comment on the coffee. Internet seems solid, a good place to work for a couple hours. Wish they would have asked if it was for here so I could get a ceramic mug instead of paper.
