Contribuisci feedbackI had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The pizza was fantastic, and the service was truly wonderful. The atmosphere made me feel right at home. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is because of the many stairs. While there is a ramp, it's quite long, and there are still quite a few stairs at both the lower and upper levels, which can be challenging for older guests. Additionally, the elevator has been out of service for several months. I'm not sure why it hasn't been repaired, but having it fixed would certainly make it easier for older customers.
The pricing is excellent, the staff is polite, and the food is delicious. I would recommend this place for weekends and sports games.
Good pizza, just don’t order delivery. It was extremely late and I was called to be reassured my pizza was on its way. 30 minutes later it still hadn’t arrived. When I called the store they were absolutely no help.
I've included a picture of our receipt to show that there was no mistake in the order. Because I didn’t realize the whole order was overcooked, I placed it in the trunk while I went shopping. By the time I got home, we had to use a knife to pry the pizza off the cardboard. It was a disappointing meal for several reasons—primarily the taste, the convenience of this location compared to Lansing, and the fact that our daughter was paying for it. UPDATE: I spoke with the manager, who explained how this happened and apologized. I appreciate that.
First, let me say their pizza is fantastic. Nice thick crust and lots of toppings. My problem is their delivery is terrible. I'm an engineer at a local business. When we have weekend work I'll buy the employees lunch to thank them. Three times in the past two months I've ordered Beggar's. The first time I gave up on the order after waiting TWO HOURS. I called a couple times and was assured it was on it's way, but it never showed up. The second time the pizza came in about an hour and fifteen minutes. All seemed good, and I gave a decent tip. When I received my bank statement it showed I was charged $2 more than I had signed for on the receipt. I don't enjoy explaining why my receipt doesn't match the charge on my expense report. Third time's a charm, right? After waiting an hour and a half, I called to check on it. I was told the driver made a mistake and delivered it to the wrong address. But they had another one in the oven I could have of I wanted. Needless to say, I canceled that order as well. So, 0 for 3 Beggar's! It was not fun telling the employees they didn't get lunch (which they plan on) because of poor delivery. I won't make that mistake again. Like I said, Beggar's pizza is great. Just make sure you dine in.
