Casa Carlos Cafe - Bournemouth

Really amazing food. Consistently delivers great tasting tapas in great location. Went on a Thursday night and it was busy which is a great testament to this place

Casa Carlos is located in the Southbourne area of Bournemouth. It is just under half a mile on foot from Pokesdown station. It opens at 6 pm on a Saturday evening and we were the first customers through the door. It was lucky that we were as it rapidly filled with locals (you cannot book in advance). We had patatas bravas, garlic mushrooms and chicken chorizo paella with Spanish beer to drink. All were good, especially the paella which contained delicious pieces of chorizo. We had Bailey’s latte after our meal and the service was good too.

A very good evening. Love the renovation which has increased the space dramatically. Food as great as ever with substantial tapas dishes. Like the no need to book however restaurant full early. Tables turned quickly. We had 5 x tapas and couple of glasses of house wine. All great. Service very good.

Wonderful tasty food, especially the calamari and the meatballs. Friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Very popular so you may need to queue but worth waiting for. The tortilla portion is really only big enough for 1 person.

I had been wanting to try the Tapas at this restaurant for a while, and I was not disappointed. It was definitely worth the visit and I will definitely be returning.
