The Ilkley Cow - Bradford

Visited here on Saturday night on recommendation of my daughter and we were not disappointed. the eating was most delicious Thai sweets outside the mustel inn in edinburgh (and all my favorite place! and I think the most beautiful burger I ever had. my man crawling salad was fresh and full of taste. his steak cooked to perfection. we will definitely visit again.

Enjoy the different ranch style decoration; service very good and eat interesting, well presented and of very good quality also. perfect for a family birthday evening.

What a lovely evening. From walking in the door the staff can,t do enough for you. Great evening we will be back with friends family for sure. Thank you guys.

Met promptly at the door with a smile and a warm welcome, no problem that we were only 5 and not the booked 5. Coats taken and stored away from the table. Shown to our table but could have gone to the small bar area. Never felt rushed with menu's and good friendly chat from waiter. Good choice of meat,chicken and fish details (not sure re vegetarian options) Food delivered in a a timely manner and of a high standard, the mixed grill i had was spot on the steak a good rare. Desserts also had a good choice and were of a good standard, good wine list but not cheap. A good meal in nice surroundings and ambiance. No negatives at all

Booked a table for 5.30pm doors apparently don 't open until then so had to stand around in the cold for 10 mins. The first waiter was great being patient because we wanted time to look over the menu as this was our first visit. Ordered a non alcoholic strawberry cocktail for our daughter it looked lovely but unfortunately all she could taste was mint, we asked for a glass of water instead and the barman was very 'off ' with us even though we weren 't really complaining just making an observation. I explained to the waiter I don 't eat potatoes so could I have salad instead of them, he said yes but then we were charged £2.95 on top for the salad!! By the end of our visit even though we hadn 't complained we had had 4 different waiters/waitresses and had to wait an age for our bill. The food would be okay for people who like their food covered in lots and lots of sauce, we like a little amount.
