Buckley's Tea Rooms - Braintree

Saturday was wet so we took a drive and stopped at the delightful tea room for refreshments and were delighted with friendly staff and food and beverages. Will be back and show the discovery of to friends.

Called here for the first time and will be the last. Ordered sandwiches , the bread looked and tasted as though it had come out of a cheap branded supermarket make. Hardly any salad to accompany the sandwiches and for the prices charged was way over the top. Since heard from other people that the food isn't as good as it used to be.

1st June 2019. Lunch for a family of 5. It was quite a pleasant day so we sat outside. Reasonable choice of sandwiches etc, and this was just what we wanted a relatively quick inexpensive lunch. Nice service from staff not wedded to their menu; changes are catered for! Perfect stopover for us. Recommended.

We visited on a very hot day. The homemade lemonade was delicious and refreshing and the cheese and onion quiche came with a fresh salad that was all the more welcome because of the weather. Friendly and prompt service.
