Good servers, good food, good drink selection (both cocktails and beer), with drink specials that are also affordable--a rarity these days. Also, the managerhimself responded to a review of mine on Yelp, (also positive) so they are very attentive outside the restaurant too.
FYI: they do not make their own beer here, nor do they have many beers available on tap or in bottles. We asked for an order of the truffle burrata, just not over a salad, but were told that we couldn 't get it that way. We ordered the fried artichokesinstead, which were straight out of a can and into the batter, with individual leaves as well as whole pieces. That made for avery unattractive dish, though they tasted ok. I had asked for a pasta dish with vegetables, but was told by the server thatmost of the pasta dishes came with meat. I ordered a dish with tortellini and vine-ripe tomatoes. Both of our dishes came with asalad, and the Gorgonzola vinaigrette that we ordered was literally balsamic with blue cheese crumbs sprinkled on top. Whenour entrees came out, I noticed some clumps sticking out of the sauce. I pulled one out and asked what it was, and it turned outto be sausage. Nowhere on the menu did it mention sausage in that dish, nor did it mention that the sauce was made withsausage. The dish was sent back and the manager came over to apologize and ask if they could re-make it. He seemed ill at easeand almost as inexperienced as the servers and bartenders. The dish was re-made with a milky cream sauce that wasn 't veryflavorful, along with small pieces of tomato and red pepper. I wasn 't even given a discount on that meal, which cost $17.
This was the first time at Burrata. We went there for lunch. We loved the menu, atmosphere and servers who were extremely helpful and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and eggplant fries were to die for. Highly recommended Burrata willbe going back.
I went for the first time the other night. We were a group of 6. It started out great. Server was very polite, seemed informative and helpful and then it went downhill from there. After we placed our order, the server was almost nowhere to befound. We kept having to grab him as he scurried by for more drinks. It wasn't even busy. There was an entire room that wascompletely empty. We got there at 7 and placed our orders fairly quick. Didn't get our salads till almost 8, they served myapp to another table. It wasn't until everyone else had gotten and eaten their apps that we finally asked about the other one. The dinner didn't come until just about 9 and no one really cared for their meal. That's 6 different meals that no one liked. The pasta was HARD! Not really flavorful. Chicken was tough and the portions were fairly small for an Italian restaurant. Honestly, we are all Italian and used to good food and every one of us would have rather gone to Olive Garden. Sorry we wont beback.
Very impressed with the service and food was delicious. My 2 year old loved his dinner as well and the bartender/server was extremely pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back.
