A family business, Nash and his wife are very friendly and sweet. We ordered Gunpowder dosa and mysore masala dosa. Both have to eat. As you bite into the Mysore masala dosa, you can taste the ginger cool Chutney, which is neither too spicy nor too mild. As you go, this Chutney mixes with the potato filling (a.k.a palya) loaded with onions, lentils and other spices that make it a tasty bite. The Sambar is a perfect companion for the Dosa. It comes with Dal and fresh, beautifully cut carrots. Gunpowder dosa has lubricated a powder in the cansas made for lentils and other South Indian spices. Please do not forget to add additional ghee for the two cans. PS: do not have pictures of Dosas since I had no patience to click pictures and began to eat as soon as it came to our table.
The food was absolutely delicious and the owners were warm and welcoming. Five shiny stars. Would definitely recommend. Can't wait until we get back to the area!
I had the classic Masala dosa and mango Lassie. The Dosa is definitely interchangeable, or go really hungry. Also the Lassi is so smooth and creamy I definitely recommend.
Good Dosas... eat Dosas my whole life... that was okay....as well as her beets probiotic shots / drinking was really good....we tried the cheese dosa...masala dosa....the dosa with the hot dog and curry chicken dosa....
The best spot for lunch! Nash and Leda are incredible hosts and the view is the best you could ask for in Brattleboro. All foods are gluten free and many options can also be made dairy free without compromising flavor.
