They had goid live music, it was busy but not overcrowded. The Boddies was on top form. The service was good considering it was busy. Overall a very pleasant experience. Price per person: £20–30 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Went across to see a band that was on-The Still ,who are well worth a watch if you can get to see them locally. It was great to see a pub still putting on live music, and it seemed to be appreciated by the regulars. The staff were pleasant and quick to serve, there was a good atmosphere and they had a reasonable choice of drinks. The only fly in the ointment was the fact that they had a hand pump,but no cask ale,only John Smiths or Boddingtons(which I can't put into the category of a decent beer-no matter how hard I try. )Definitely missing a trick there,but other than that, a good night out. Went to see a superb band, The Still. Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere. Good to watch the footy and it's good to see pubs that have regular live music. But what a shame that there wasn't any cask ale. There was a hand pump but not used and the young barmaid didn't even know what cask ale was when I asked her!!! Would love to go again but I would love to have a decent pint as well.
