Dockside Lounge - Breezy Point

This is a fantastic spot in Breezy! It's just a short walk from our cabin. We love to arrive by boat using the VIP service from the dock, which is available if you spend a minimum of $100. They often have live entertainment featuring tribute bands for Elvis, Johnny Cash, and Neil Diamond, making it a great place for family fun. We’ve only tried the pizza, but it's delicious! A nice surprise is that they serve large piña coladas for just $10.

The $18 walleye basket has made me hopeful that the fries will be worthwhile! I live just a few blocks away, but I haven't been able to find a good reason to visit Dockside lately.

Assuming our food was ready and waiting, I sent a friend to pick it up. Upon her arrival, the staff explained that they don’t start a DoorDash order until a driver comes, to avoid food just sitting there. This raises the question—why does DoorDash accept orders without drivers available? It's so frustrating for businesses! When my friend picked up the order, Dockside did not charge me, and later, I received a refund from DoorDash for the order that was never fulfilled. When I called Dockside to pay them directly, they kindly thanked me for reaching out but refused to bill me. How generous of them! I wholeheartedly recommend Dockside, but I cannot recommend DoorDash at all!
