Restaurant am Deich 68 - Bremen

This restaurant was recommended by a friend. What a nice surprise! Now, there is no water view, but you can walk along the dike before/after meal. Pleasant evening, so we sat in the small back courtyard. Nice trees, sky above. Menu somewhat limited, but Wow!, was it great! Ended up being the best meal in Bremen. Menu available in English; changes each month. Had a wonderful soup, followed by a pork loin, rolled. For dessert, Mango-Mousse. Had both Ristretto and Schumli coffee. Asked waitress to recommend a glass of white wine with soup and a red for main course. Both were superb, and again, as an American, unbelievably value-priced! Wine is served in the bottle: you pour as many glasses as you care. White wine served with a chill-stand. This restaurant is definitely to be recommended! Enjoy!

Thanks to previous tripadvisor reviews we decided to walk to this restaurant and we were not disappointed! The menu was a welcome change from the standard fare served in Bremen city and the wine was very well marched with the meaps. It was also reasonably priced and the service in this family restaurant was very good. As the weather was nice we ate on the small terrace at the back of the restaurant. It was well worth the walk from and to our hotel near Bremer Bahnhof. It was definitely the best meal we had in three weeks touring through Germany.

After a long time again in the Restaurant der Künstlerhazs and the result... We were really excited. Innovative selection of dishes. We'll be back.

Varied card that changes monthly. Very good selection of beer and wine.

I used the delivery service. Aubergine Navy and liver with delicious gratin instead of risotto. In good quality, just super. Keep healthy and on. Best regards Hartmut Black
