Brentwood Vitality Bowl...This use to be one of my favorite healthy places to go to, and I would always order a large bowl but, I have been noticing that they don't fill it to the top.Basically, if you order a large, they fill it with açaí only half way then they add the filling. To sum it up, they don't top it off. It doesn't seem as if I'm getting a good value for my money in regards with the acai bowls. So now, we're just ordering drinks VS before I use to order both acai bowls and drinks. Service is always excellent...and a nice to hang out too. Now if you are really craving a real TRUE Large Acai bowl, I suggest go to the Pleasant Hill Location, there ...they top off there bowls and it makes it feel like your getting your moneys worth. Either way...enjoy a healthy alternative.
I just experienced what was undoubtedly the worst salad I've ever had. I ordered the steak chimichurri grain bowl from Vitality Bowls, but they forgot to include my extra steak. The quinoa and rice mix was a mushy mess, and the roasted potatoes were completely soggy. How can you even end up with soggy potatoes?! Oh my goodness! This is what I get for trying to be healthy.
We checked on our drinks, but all four employees were in the back room chatting and not preparing any orders or updating us on the status. There were no DoorDash orders or pickups happening, so it was just our order that needed to be made. After waiting another fifteen minutes, we had to wave them down to ask about our drinks again, but they brushed us off to take orders from five new customers who had just arrived instead of completing ours first. Then, one of the female employees came out, seemingly unaware of our order or the situation. Frustrated, we asked for a refund, expecting at least to receive our drinks for free after such a long wait. However, they hadn’t even started making our drinks and simply told us we weren’t getting them, without any apologies for the inconvenience or lack of service. I left feeling extremely disappointed and have no intention of returning.
Horrible experience. Employees unprofessional and customer service was terrible. Came in on a Sunday morning to the Brentwood, CA location last weekend (5/10/23) it was only me and my boyfriend there. Had to wait until someone finally came out of the back to take our order, which took 5 minutes, took our order and we waited patiently 10 minutes for one small smoothie and a juice. We checked in on it but all 4 employees were in the back room just talking amongst themselves not making any orders, or coming out to let us know a timeline. There weren't any doordash orders either or anyone picking anything up. So it was just ours to make. We asked again how it was coming along 15 minutes later and had to wave them down in the back and they brushed us off, to take 5 new peoples orders that had just come in instead of finishing ours. Then one of the female employees came out and asked to take our order -she didn't know anything about our order we had been waiting for the entire time or what we were talking about. So we asked for a refund, thinking they'd give us the drinks for free after all of that, and they hadn't even started making them and said we didn't get the drinks and did not apologize for any of the inconvenience or lack of customer service. Super disappointed. Never going back.
