Tudors At Marygreen Manor - Brentwood

The afternoon tea was nice, although they could contain some small hearty pieces. Sandwiches had too much butter on them. Cake was delicious and the right amount. Scones were excellent with fruit and simply offered. Beautiful environment with friendly helpful staff.

I booked afternoon tea for me and my sister, as we hadn't seen each other for a while. The service was good as the afternoon tea, but I would have been a little quieter somewhere, as there were 2 parties so a little loud. Next time I'll ask for a quiet area.

Excellent value for money, we had the Afternoon tea that was very pleasant and the service was friendly and relaxed.

The staff was very nice and friendly. We had Sunday dinner here, which was very disappointing. Chicken was tender, but the tomato sauce poured over the top spoiled it. Beef and pork were cooked well. The vegetables were very Al Dente and Bland, roast potatoes needed more cooking as they were hard. Dessert came without custard, cream or ice options.

Lovely afternoon tea but would prefer the cakes not all to be cream ones, also the sandwiches were nice but a chicken one one would of Been good as don’t really eat egg or ham But overall nice
