La Guilloniere - Bretignolles-sur-Mer

We reviewed this restaurant on Trip Advisor and have to say we were not disappointed. You had options of indoor or outdoor. Lovely interior, friendly staff and a varied menu to suit everyone we chose pizzas. They were absolutely delicious and a good size. We recommend the ice cream for dessert. It is so tasty and full of flavour. Prices were really good and it's always a good sign when you see the locals in it. Within a half an hour of us arriving it was completely full. Make sure to book in advance. Definitely going there on next holiday to France.

We 've been coming here for 15 years. Initially with children and, for the past few years as a couple. We 've even brought dogs! Over the years, the interior has been upgraded and is very comfortable. This year, the terrace has been improved by the addition of a marvellous roof-blind system which makes it even more pleasant when the sun is shining. Despite all the expensive improvements, the cost of a meal in the Guillonniere has barely changed! The salads and pizzas are superb and the wine is very reasonably priced, from approximately 12 to 17 euro for a bottle with a 'pichet ' of very acceptable wine even better value. M and Mme Staal have ensured that a warm welcome is provided no matter how busy they are. This evening, the restaurant was packed both inside and out but there was time for a friendly chat and catch up. Continued success to you both, you deserve it.

Very good time in this restaurant. Very reasonable price. Servers with top...and hearty and succulent dishes. Thanks for lunch. We will certainly return.
