Contribuisci feedbackALWAYS fabulous. Their Duck Tacos for Taco Tuesday were so INCREDIBLE, I asked Eric the owner to add them permanently to the menu. Fingers crossed. Their restaurant never disappoints. Whether for a relaxing Tue evening (last night), or a bustling crowded evening, the staff always has it together for a great evening. One of our go to favorites for years and years. Xo
I've always loved Almond. Ever since the once in NYC closed, it's made the visits to Bridgehampton even more special.
It was extremely busy so many tables were seated late. The food was mediocre (tough dry pork chop, burger was fine but not interesting) and of course expensive, but that's expected in the Hamptons. Our waiter did his best and was very personable and efficient but he had a tough gig.
Almond is a great restaurant with good food and a lively ambience. It feels scene-y and at the same time, like a neighborhood place that is warm and welcoming. Yes, it's pricey, but it's the Hamptons. We've never been disappointed.
Everything is always delicious and well prepared. The bread is always warm and butter soft. Tonight we chose the duck breast with lentils which was cooked perfectly. Full of flavor, lean and the prep and lentils complimented the duck. We also ordered the Montauk Striped Bass which came with amazing masala potatoes. Once again all teh accompaniments complemented the fish which was also cooked perfectly. Flakey, juicy and flavorful.
