An old friend of the school and I have traveled to south wales since the pension visited over 400 caffes to the breakfast. after several visits in maesteg we came to louchis. when entering we were pleasantly surprised by the decor. the counter representation of cake was in fact impressive and...safely intriguing. but our aim was to have an breakfast. we ordered a large breakfast, 2 eggs, 2 speck, 2 sausages, black pudding, hash brown, tomato, borons, mushrooms, 2 slices of garnet roast. this was really a good value at £6.50 there was a good choice of hot drinks. the food was freshly prepared and arrived after a short waiting period. very tasty and we both enjoyed. personal very friendly and added to the experience. will go this time definitiw again to taste cake.
Had a wonderful afternoon with friends. the served portions are massive and the variety of cakes are delicious. the waitress could not fail, as it ensured that our teet pots were constantly filled. if they expect a large selection of tiny portions, this is not the place for them, but if they are happy with delicious sandwiches, a huge piece of cake, a pretty cupcake and a beautiful scoone, they will love it! (On the way no one in our group could finish what was served so that we were presented with a small box to take a contract for later home
Many sandwiches, but nothing to write at home. very simple and cheap made. the chicken was safe from a package and didn't taste fresh. cakes were beautiful. very pretty scones. already joined and joined together. thought that was a...small strange.es there are always so big debate cream or jam first? it was impossible to eat them in their sandwich form, as there was much too much to see. the staff was nice and friendly, but we waited approx. 40 minutes on our afternoon tea. may seem small, but if they love a good afternoon tee (a posh one), then I would not say that this was the one.
Came here with my mother and sister for high Tea, the whole experience was outstanding. We were welcomed and seated in a beautiful quaint Tea room, the staff were very friendly, approachable and professional. The high Tea... wow... the sandwiches were made fresh and were...beautiful with a great selection, we had Tuna and Red onion, Cheese and Cucumber, Bbq chicken Ham salad and Beef and tomatoe, there were also more options. All the sandwiches were beautiful with ample filling, delicious. The scones were obviously freshly made and were served with just the right amount of Jam and Cream. There were a selection of Tea available and I enjoyed an Earl Grey, delicious. Nothing was too much for the staff who also provided boxes for us to take and leftovers away with us, we had 3 cupcakes and three generous helpings of cake to take home with us. While enjoying our food there were many walk in customers collecting cakes they had ordered and we were all in awe watching the masterpieces that had been created, will definitely be ordering a cake from here and will definitely be returning.
