Went in this morning greeted by 3 smiling faces and a lovely warm clean eating area. Ordered our food it arrived after a short wait and was probably the best breakfast I have eaten. We are now going to be regular customers. Many thanks
It was decent—a typical coffee shop—but the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.
The food was twice as delicious! On our first visit, we had an English breakfast, which was the best we've ever had! During our second visit, we ordered from the specials menu and also tried a cream tea. Everything was fantastic, and we definitely plan to come back. Thank you! We can’t wait for our next visit!
I hadn't visited Brightlingsea in years and was amazed by the waterfront developments featuring stunning apartments overlooking the water. The sky was overcast and murky, and the tide was out, giving the place a slightly eerie vibe. However, a charming house stood proudly along the front, complete with wooden frames, a turret window, and a beautiful weather vane. Each corner of the roof was adorned with a gargoyle-like red stone dragon, which seemed poised to take flight and breathe fire at any moment. Right next door was the inviting Coach House coffee shop, where I warmed up with a large, frothy latte and a generous slice of carrot cake. The cake was delightfully moist and subtly spiced, topped with a creamy frosting. On this particular Wednesday, there weren't many people wandering about the town, but there was a steady stream of customers, many of whom appeared to be regulars. I look forward to returning and joining them!
