On arrival I found the staff member that served me a little rough around the edges. She seemed flustered, however was polite enough. The food counter in the cafe was filled to the brim with delightful treats. The quality here is excellent. The coffee was amazing. I will be back.

Went for a late lunch here as only cafe open on public holiday. It was evident the cafe had been busy earlier as unoccupied tables had not been cleared. Had to move used dishes to another table ourselves before sitting down. Ordered at counter and coffee was delivered fairly quickly. Had to ask waiter to wipe spilled food from table, he didn't have a cloth and had to fetch one from kitchen. Waited a further 30 minutes for food to be brought, which was very nice when it finally arrived. . Wait staff ignoring uncleared tables and they when occasionally cleared one, did not wipe it down, none of them seemed to carry a cloth and seemed unconcerned about dirty tables.

Breakfast for one, Sunday morning 9.00. I was the unlucky chap standing behind the guy that just ordered for 8 ! Never mind, it's not very busy so I can just relax with paper and a flat white Ordered the Simons breakfast, sat down and a lady came out to let me know the big order had gone in but they won't forget me . That's nice to know . Breakfast comes out and how good is this . Yes it was a wait however the waitress offers me a free coffee as a thank you for being patient !!! Okay the breakfast - superb. Spicy beans, scrambled eggs , sausages, mushrooms , ciabatta, tomato and wilted spinach. Really taste the quality . $23 for one person. Well worth the trip out here

Took my parents out to lunch today at Simons gourmet gallery! Wow, what wonderful service was provided by the chef directly. Really wish we got his name. My mum is on the strict fodmap diet, if she steers from this she get extremely ill. Usually this means she results in a poached egg on gluten free toast, however today we were blown away. The chef personally came out on a number of occasions to check what mum could eat and it was obvious that he was also doing some research of his own out the back. Beautifully cooked salmon glazed in dill and Lemon with a salad and a beautiful dressing all of which were fodmap friendly! Thanks again for the service! We will be back!!

Have had breakfast here a number of times and does not disappoint. Menu is extensive, meals are excellent. Yesterday I had potato herb Rosti with mushrooms, tomato, chilli jam. Coffee is Vittoria organic. The butcher sells ethically sourced produce and there are also a lot of take away meals, for example, lamb and rosemary pie, beef stroganoff and pasta dishes.There is a fabulous array of gourmet gifts as well as fruit and vegetables. The service is always friendly and efficient. This is definitely worth many visits.
