Barbalu Brooklyn - Broad Channel

The pan roasted Arctic char with veggies was great. Loads of olive oil and both cooked to crispy perfection. The pasta was delicious, I've tried various ravioli of the day, as well as other options; the pasta was tender and the flavors intense without being overwhelming or unnecessarily heavy. The pizza is good and competes with many good pizzerias in the area. The tiramisu was creamier and more delicate than usual, and I liked it though it was bit more sugary than I expected. The outdoor tables benefit from the wide sidewalk. It's on the pricier side, but it makes up by being reliable and consistent with the quality.

Everything we ordered was absolutely spectacular. We would like to highlight the mushroom pizza, cavatelli, and phenomenal wine. The service, music, and atmosphere is perfect for intimate conversations, dates, and ladies brunches. Highly recommend!!

Excellent pasta and pizza, with fine Italian ingredients. Pleasant athmosphere and kind crew. Certainly a very good choice!
