This restaurant is close to New York Hospital in New York City. It is somewhat better than eating in the hospital cafeteria. The food is reasonably decent and prices are okay. One caveat: If you order their nachos, be aware that they top them with black beans in a liquid. I suspect that they are straight out of the can. That is not my objection though, My objections is that this liquidy topping renders the nachos soggy. If you like soggy nachos, no problem. If, like me, you like them crispy, be sure to order the black beans on the side and specify you don't want soggy nachos. If your loved one is in the hospital, and you are in a rush to get back, this is an okay place. I would not go out of my way to go here. But for some reasons, the selection of restaurants near the hospital is slim pickings.
Okay for brunch and lunch-they make a mean margarita. Mexican twist on the eggs benedict, predictable but tasted good nonetheless. Dinner however seemed sub par and over priced. I have mixed feelings about this one. There are so many mexican places on the upper east side, unless the food is stand out spectacular (and the food here is not), I'd be hard pressed to return.
Good for a weekday lunch. Their sandwich and salads are pretty good, and I come here often for work meetings. Not the best Mexican food, I would go up the street to Two Lizards, but it hits the spot sometimes.
Me and my co-workers had a casual business lunch here and we were all pleased. The salsa was fresh and had great flavor and we had the nachos as an appetizer which were very good. The fish burrito had a great, fresh taste, was well seasoned and was cooked perfect. The wait staff was attentive and overall, this is a great spot to stop for lunch on the upper east side.
