Hill Country Barbecue Market

Good solid Q, but nothing memorable if you are from a BBQ state. We had the platter for 2 and were underwhelmed. 2 Crosscuts brisket, two ribs, 1 link, 1/4 small chicken, 2 small sides. No bread or cornbread. Either of us could have eaten it alone. I needed to use the rub and a little sauce to get some flavor. I like my Q a bit more smokey but no complaints otherwise. Just happy to have it in the city.

The pitmaster was good…the chicken was a little dry but everything else was great. I wish they had more of a cocktail selection…they were out of frozen margaritas the night I was there.

My experience with Hill Country BBQ was spot-on, brisket and the jalapeño sausage was awesome! Being Texan, I will say this would give Texas BBQ a run for thier money!! I do plan on visiting this restraunt again hopefully soon!

I prefer this venue very much. there is a friendly air. The food is great. the service is effective and the personel is very professional. The pay is satisfactory. greatly recommend.
