Best German food in Astoria, and especially if you are still trying to outdoor dine they are great with heated outdoor seating.

I'm stingy with 5 stars, especially after one visit, but everything was great — food, beer, service, atmosphere. It's not a big place, might be best to go early to get a table right away.

A great strong beer selection, just don't start drinking on an empty stomach. The schnitzel and wurst plate w/2 sides portions are enormous, most at the table couldn't finish. A bit slow service with only 1 waitress, otherwise a great spot for German food and drinks!
