Spicy Moon - Broad Channel

Everything was delicious! So many great and distinct flavors. The vibe was really cool and the service was attentive and speedy. Excited to bring my vegan friends here in the future.

The Wonton in Chili Oil was great, the Bao was very good, but the 3-pot and cumin-style were just fine

Spicy moon is my favorite Asian vegan restaurant in the city. The Dan Dan noodles here is out of the world. I keep coming back to get that every time.

If you can look past the unapologetically glowing-pink aesthetic you may be rewarded with the best vegan meal you can remember having! Not sure how fastidiously authentic to Sichuanese style the cooking is, but that's ok: The Dan Dan noodles with beyond beef checked all the boxes, and we liked the kung Pao style tofu despite it reading very sweet/American-style to me (was a great counterpoint to the heat of Dan Dan noodles). We were sat 40 min after our reservation time and then sat right by the door that remained open most of the night because it was broken, while it was 38 degrees outside. Food was brought in a haphazard manner with entrees and appetizers brought randomly throughout the meal. Music was loud enough to prevent you hearing anyone at the table that wasn't on either side of you. And half the time it was terrible music.
