Tanoshi Tei - Broad Channel

December 2022 — Party of 3, reservation for lunch on a Friday. Reservations are highly recommended! Food/Pricing — Omikase lunch, $55 per person. Includes miso soup and hot green tea (tea upon request). Everything we were served was absolutely delicious and left us feeling satisfied. Service/Ambiance — The establishment is cozy and has one sushi bar that can fit about 7 people. There's a place to hang your coat.

Fantastic food. Staff were all excellent. The room on the left didn't look as nice as the other room, but it's a minor gripe

The omakase is outstanding. Simple looking restaurant with some of the freshest fish i've ever had. I've been here twice and can't wait to come back.

Tanoshi is a disappointment. I’ve been here a few times and the foods always great. Fish is fresh. Some pieces lack a bit of flavor but the freshness makes up for it. What got me is, they charged 10% more for using a card without being told. We received the bill with one price and after paying the total receipt was charged 10% more, circling the original price saying cash discount. This deceptive behavior won’t have me coming back.
