This is my go to bakery! Every time I visit I am greeted by very warm and lovely staff. In addition, I love love love their pan con mantequilla (toasted bread and butter. It's inexpensive simple and great to go eat!I also often get their empanadas they are super delicious a nice size! Please consider supporting this local business if you're in the area.

Please do not buy coffee from this Bakery, I bought one for one dollar and fifty cents I asked for coffee and milk and she added water to my coffee with milk i had to throw it away like, why would you add water to a made coffee, i guess to save milk please stay away.

I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before ordering here. If I did. I wouldn't have but I'm glad I did and I'm picky af! Great experiences with: Mini coquitos Bolas de papa Bread pudding was ok. (there's better ones in the neighborhood) But, I do stop in and grab the mini coquitos because their delicious and remind me of grandma's!

So yes unfortunately I hate to bearer of bad news but the previous reviewer was correct. I was going to order for my daughters birthday so I ordered a few things for us on Grubhub for weekend brunch . There's is definitely problem with their water. Most of their items taste like open water left in a dirty refrigerator. I ordered a Dominican cake :it had no frosting on it or flavor fruit inside the taste was okay. Their pan de agua was off. The café cubano had that bad water taste at the end . I order a guava and cheese pastry . The crust was not flakey but hard and as soon as I bit in it fully I got the dirty refrigerator taste again, the cheese was hard as well definitely not fresh. And I got a stomach ache shortly after that first bite Only things that seemed fresh was a coco piña cake and a cheesy bread. There are way better bakeries in Washington Heights.
