Bonefish Grill - Broken Arrow

I've been to this Bonefish several times and they have always exceeded my expectations. On this occasion I ordered the spinach crab salad. It was rather expensive as there was very little crab in it. Our server was an over enthusiastic young man. He asked if everything was okay several times, wanted to remove our dishes while we were still eating, asked if we wanted dessert while we were still eating. He also left the check at our table while we were still eating! It was as if he were trying to rush us out, for no reason! There were only 2 or 3 other tables occupied. I think the server issue is a training issue that can be addressed with further training.

We ordered bang bang, calamari and chicken to go. Everything was good except the calamari. It was terrible. My husband brought it back to the manager. She was very nice and apologetic. She claimed there has been trouble with the vendor. First, that tells me it 's frozen and thrown in a deep fryer. I was naive and thought the food was fresh and breaded in house. Secondly, if there is a problem, don 't offer it. My biggest complaint is if the cooks knew what they were doing they could work around the problem. Instead, the cooks left it in the fryer way too long. The calamari, even the replacement, were swimming in grease and not breaded.; even the two bell pepper strips were limp, not breaded and covered in grease. Two bites of the first and the replacement, that 's it. It was disgusting. To restate, the manager was very nice and she tried to fix it. I will rethink the next time I 'm asked, would you like bonefish .

This was not a good visit for me. Been to many other locations. Mahi Mahi was over cooked. Sent it back and second one was slightly over cook. They did comp the meal. Suggest not getting Mahi.

I had the crab and fontina frittata. Soooo delicious! The service was wonderful, and we had a wonderful brunch.
