The Shack At 550 - Brookhaven

I wanted something different and tonight I was at the shack for the first time at 550. I ordered shrimp queso dip that was delicious and the tortilla chips are easily some of the best I ever had. I also have a shrimp. I didn't like it so much. I never had one. it was good for a pack, but it had a herb flavor I didn't care. that can be normal for the Creole season. I tried one of my son's blacks. it was shockingly salty. he said it felt like you were punched. the staff was great. quicker pickup order, which I took to the home in front of the television.

First off I’m one of the neighbors and I can’t get no sleep due to the loud music. Party all night and morning to around 3am on weekdays. It’s ridiculous can’t even get any sleep. Every neighbor is complaining about it and there is no change even if we confront them. I also have numerous cars in my driveway because they think they can park here and go party. Hate to complain but it’s outrageous and need to be attended to. Thanks

Great food and service. Not your ordinary place. A must do if your in the area . I will definitely be back.

This is literally my favorite restaurant, but I had a terrible experience today. Took almost 45 minutes for 2 shrimp poboys. Bread was dry had barely any mayo and they were falling apart. Mine wasn't even properly cut. Not to mention that after all that, 2 poboys and a drink was over $40. Come on guys yall can do better.

One of our favorite restaurants in Brookhaven since moving here a few months ago. We moved from Kansas City (a foodie town) and really love the “Shack Fries” and the Burgers are delicious. Kids love the poboys and chicken strips too. ??
