City Line Bakery - Brooklyn

The cakes here are delicious, but the writing on them can be hit or miss due to inconsistent handwriting. Since 2022, I've purchased 3 or 4 cakes. One had an odd air bubble shape on top, while another had poor writing. However, the last cake I got was beautifully decorated for my 66-year-old mother! There's a young man there now who does an amazing job with the cake writing. Just be sure to check that your cake isn’t crystallized.

The cake was overpriced at $50, and the decoration was quite basic—definitely not worth the money. They also didn't call me when it was ready to confirm my phone number, and I ended up waiting for 4 hours until 3 PM for a call.

I gave it 1 star because I can't give it 0. This was by far one of the worst experiences I've had in terms of service and quality. I would advise avoiding it.

The cake wasn’t moist, it didn’t taste like it was fresh and I found a plastic inside of it broo. So disappointed??‍

Very delicious fresh moist cakes in different flavors. Chocolate, milk cake, strawberry, pineapple, etc. They sell whole cakes and at times individual slices.
