Contribuisci feedbackI ate at this restaurant earlier this week and was thoroughly impressed with the seafood dishes. They were cooked and presented beautifully. The chips were wonderfully crunchy, the barramundi had a crispy skin and was served with a delicately dressed salad. The Salt and pepper squid was absolutely fantastic and melted in your mouth.
Even though it's a bit pricey, every meal we've tried has been fantastic. It seems like there must be new management because the negative reviews from before don't make sense to me now, six months later. The food is very delicious and consistently satisfying!
The Rump Steak with Green Pepper Sauce, Chips, and Salad was absolutely amazing!
I have never walked out on a meal before. There was half an hours difference between mine and my partners meal. He ordered the steak with mushroom sauce that arrived with no sauce and two half champignons on top, give or take 30 minutes after he had eaten (after checking up twice) my meal arrived a rubbery looking piece of 'crumbed' barramundi. One mouthful and I couldn't stomach the rest. Truly awful food and the poorest of service, the wait staff are nice enough but have no interest in what they are doing and couldn't seem to understand why we were upset. The table across from us had the same issue. Save your pennies to spend else where.
The food at the restaurant is very very nice and has good portions. The service was a bit slow but it is Broome and things do take a bit longer. Would recommend.
