Matso's Restaurant - Broome

Unusual selection of ginger beers and great idea for the taste plates. found I prefer the boring old style ingwer beer, but worth tasting this. had no meal, so have no idea of it.

I have to say that I have been numerous paints in matsos and every time I order a steak, it is not disappointed. I'm as fussy as I get my rare steak. usually directed by others I get a medium rare or well made, but not by matsos. I just eat steak a few times a year, so it's really important if I don't get what I pay. so good at the beautiful chef and the staff are always friendly and welcoming! aim is to get there early if they haven't booked a table because it always blossoms there! the sunset of the night was spectacular!

Visited for a friends birthday celebration. Had the ravioli off the dinner menu Was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. Would recommend it to everyone. Only downside was you have to eat it in the restaurant area not in the beer garden to order off...the dinner menu.

Had two delightful dinners here last week with friends all from Melbourne) sitting out on the verandah. Friendly staff especially Reaf and the girl from Timor Leste knew the menu well and advised us accordingly. The grilled Barramundi served with a tasty sauce ,...veggie and rice along with Matso’s mango beer was magnificent Don’t think I’ve eaten a better Barramundi anywhere!! They honoured drinks vouchers from excursions- it was meant for draught beer but they happily substituted a glass of wine instead. Rustic ambience added to the great informal dining experience Well done , highly recommended and thank you !!

Relaxing place, ok to grab a bite and cold beer or drink. Wasn’t bad, was ok. Beer isn’t made here so it’s really just a pub type place. Ginger beer is best, didn’t like the flavoured hard beers in cans.
