Sultan's Cafe & Restaurant - Buderim

I ordered the moussaka and it was so watery that I couldn't eat. Deforested?! Not only that, a waitress was taking orders without a note pad which is unprofessional.

Was looking for a fairly quick meal before my husband and I had tickets to see a movie. Very conveniently located across from the cinema we decided on Sultans. Great authentic Turkish menu to choose from. Our waitress was lovely and the food came out within about 15-20 min which was great for us. Food was absolutely delicious! We had Lamb Pide and Lamb Shish with turkish bread and dips. Would definitely go back as there its lots on the menu to try.

Waitress did not seem to know much about dishes. Meals were average to below average with kofta tasting like cheap sausage meat rather than lamb. Another three meat type of 'pizza' was also like minced sausage meat. Tje sultans special like a bread pocket filled with greens, lamb and cheese was tasty and the only reasonable dish.Normal coffees were ok. However Turkish coffee was made with water which must have boiled several times and tasted awful. Very disappointing.

We stopped to taste what the girl was offering as we walked past .it was spinach and feta but sorry I don't remember the full name of the dish anyway it was so nice we sat down an ordered one to share with some tea so relaxing sitting by the river.

We had dinner here. The food was very good. The menu is very similar but not identical to that of the other Sultan's in Boondal. The meat, breads and dips were good. Service was overall fine.
