Schlossstuben Pension - Büdingen

Traditional German cuisine with hessian specialties, very well prepared. Service attentive. Great beer garden. No adjacent traffic very pleasant .

The booked room was quite large, had a TV and at the reception you got a free Wi-Fi voucher. Breakfast was a bit leaner, here I would have expected fresh rolls instead of baked goods and a little more choice. Absolutely not tolerable: The dirty towels (layers for changing on the floor were not replaced, but were simply hung over the towel holder by the cleaning force. The boss had full understanding of this no-go, but offered no reparation (price discount, restaurant voucher, .... Wouldn't stay here anymore!

The restaurant is good, the service friendly The room is the worst thing you can have as a business traveler. Wi-Fi without power is not enough to call for mails. TV available, but sufficient signal for no channel. Gottseidank had an eBook. The bathtub with hot tub does not tear it out (do not have it tried). If the muffy boss had better invest in new technology. My first and last stay here and that for 120 EUR. Very weak!

Here the food is excellent! As far as I get it, almost exclusively regional ingredients are used. We celebrated our wedding there and the cook (currently owner) explained everything to us before. Besides, there are very delicious cakes here. You should definitely eat here when you're in Büdingen. The Gaststube is well maintained and very traditional. There is a cozy beer garden. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy. There's nothing to complain about. But I have to give a star trigger because the staff could be really friendly. They are all very cooperative and hospitable, but you wish a joyful, enthusiastic smile on the faces. Especially because all of them do their job very well. More enthusiasm, people!

I wasn't eating in the chat rooms for the first time this weekend and can only confirm that it tastes excellent there. Although I'm not usually a big meat eater, I like to make an exception in the chat rooms. I have always had good experiences here. Nonetheless, of course, salads, cheese cookies as well as other vegetarian dishes that are actually my favorite dishes are really highly recommended! That's why I always have five stars, both for the kitchen and for the very good service. Because that must also be said: The staff is always friendly, courteous and dedicated to the welfare of the guests. So get up and on! I'm looking forward to the next visit. PS: As dessert, I strongly recommend a piece of the homemade cheese cake...
