You can sit inside or outside I chose outside bc the weather was amazing (it was Spring in Buenos Aires). The service was slow (for me) perhaps bc I was on my own and only speak English, but it seemed that the groups of Spanish speaking males were before me, although I was before some of them. Anyway, the food was delicious and the wine was great! Very fill out! I always love a great museum with a wonderful restaurant. The prices were reasonable.
We had a full morning touring other sites and were glad to sit and eat before we toured the art museum. Most people sat outside and it seemed like a lot of business dinners in the museum. We chose the interiors for some shades and cooler temps. Our waiter was a snob. The place was expensive, both the food and the fee for the table. But we had 2 delicious salmon salads, a caesar and a Mediterranean with large portions of salmon (and they were big see my picture) and that compensated for the bad service and at least the price we paid was for some treat.
Great food in a great location. decent wines and wonderful service in a crowded but quiet environment. One of the best places we ate in BA, and there were many wonderful places we visited. The local babysquid simply fried are a pleasure, along with the perfect polnta. Not the cheapest, but worth the money.
We arrived a half hour before closing time and were greeted by a snarly waiter reminding us of this fact. As we were in a rush, we asked for something that would be quick so he suggested ham and cheese sandwiches. They came white bread with cheese spread and cheap grocery store ham. The two sandwiches came to $25.00 US! Next time we'll cross the street and go to a proper BA cafe where similar sandwiches cost a fraction of the price.
