John consistently provides top-notch professional service. I come to Basalt every time I visit Waikiki.

Great spot to sit and have breakfast, friendly staff, lots of options on the Buffett.

My husband and kids took me for birthday breakfast. We were greeted with the gorgeous Ari, who was lovely and had the best smile. Catherine made the world's most delicious omelette and was super friendly. The kids loved her energy. Sue came and checked our table frequently, checked if we needed anything and cleared up once we finished. She had a lovely smile and all these ladies just made breakfast even more lovely. The food was lovely and fresh, and the restaurant was lovely and clean. Thank you to your wonderful team for a great breakfast. We can't wait to come back.

Views of the city and the ocean with the sun setting, set the scene for a fabulous night! Wait staff were helpful and attentive! The meals were generous and cooked to absolute perfection! My husbands lamb melted in your mouth, and my steak seasoned and cooked just how I like...we both agreed one of the best meals we've had! Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant!

Had a very good time at the Basalt. Glen served me right away and helped me with the menu. A very kind gentleman who lead his team well. Food was good and didn't take too long to come out. Much appraisal to Glen that night.
