I just graduated from UVM and went for the first time yesterday, on the last day before they closed for the season. The lady serving me gave me free fries and a drink. She was incredibly kind and it really made my day, plus the food was excellent. I'm excited to go back in April!!

Everyone who works here and the owner are the SWEETEST DOWN TO EARTH people Iv ever meet! I 'm from NY and I didn 't have the cash and they said just give it to us next time my HEART! I cried because it was the sweetest thing ever the fact that they trust a complete stranger I 'm paying what I owe tomorrow and interest of a tip for not having it and I appreciate the act of kindness we need MORE KIND HEARTED PPL LIKE BEANSIES BUS!!

This is what you want to order when you go to BEANSIES! You order the double cheeseburger with Michigan sauce with mustard and onions and get the large fry. It was a little over 20 something dollars for 2 doubles and fry’s and well worth it. We are not talking some little 6 ounce burger patty you would get at Al’s french fries they gone down hill) this is a real burger two patties with Michigan sauce flavor erupts and surprises you. You then look at the burger and how much I’d left. A well satiated lunch enjoyed. Can’t say enough about Brandie’s. Mother would send me to Benzies as a child and she would say: “get me A minute steak with ketchup and onions” That was her favorite. Bensies is an experience and historical landmark in battery park that needs to be enjoyed. Quality food costs money and inflation- yes we all have to pay a little more. You get what you pay for in the end and thank you Beansies for staying true and serving us throughout the decades!
