My wife and I, who have both lived in Bangkok for years and traveled extensively in Thailand, were not completely impressed by "pintoh." However, we were not completely disappointed either. I must admit that we have had better and fresher Thai and other Asian cuisine elsewhere. The dishes we ordered were not too far from traditional Thai, but the panang curry was lacking in flavor and the fresh rolls contained shrimp, despite not being listed on the menu (meaning I probably paid for them!). The somtum was decent, the service was fast, and the portions were adequate. Overall, I'm not sure if "pintoh" is worth a visit.
Located in the heart of Burlington, this restaurant boasts a spacious outdoor terrace where patrons can enjoy delectable Thai cuisine. The fresh spring rolls are a must-try, and the shrimp pad thai was exceptional. The service was fantastic and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant for any Thai food enthusiast.
We ordered four of the fresh spring rolls that were recommended, but only received two when we got home. The noodles in the khao soi were overcooked and tough, and the chicken pad thai lacked sweetness. For $48, I expected better quality. I won't be returning to this restaurant.
On the recommendation of my daughter, I decided to pick up two of their kits to go. You get everything needed, all you need to do is add your favourite protein. I ordered the Pad Thai and the Green Curry. Both were outstanding. The portions...were large; enough for 3 or 4 people. I highly recommend PinToh. We will definitely eat in when the Covid 19 pandemic is finally over. If you decide to order from PinToh, they offer curb side pickup. Don’t order from Skip the Dishes, they are taking a larger percentage from restaurants who are struggling to survive.
