Cockney Kings Fish & Chips - Burnaby

Had the three taco lunch (2 shrimps 1 cod) Amazing! What the sauce is spicy, but very good and so much shrimp per taco!

We come to new westminster only for everything they can eat fish chips. always great! can't beat the price. the personal is friendly and the restaurant is clean. Covid-19 protocols are available. they need more stalls!

We had a birthday dinner for 7th of course it was out! we ordered our food in the early afternoon at 5:30 o'clock. the line was quite long when we came there, but very well organized. our food was ready in time and was hot and fresh. the muddy heaps were the best we had for years. the fish was fresh and crispy. not greasy or heavy. everyone said it was excellent

Cockney kings is one of these inconceivable places that has a strong local pursuit, and it is not hard to see why. service is always excellent and eating is reliable good. it does not offer a huge menu, but everything they want from a fish. and chips restuarant can be found there - and it is done perfectly. no greasy or slimy fish, no falling tarty, nothing overdue, no freeze-dried fish or garnel, it's all fresh, just properly prepared and served hot. You can't beat that. they also have a small selection of behave, which go well with everything they choose. some are local, and some, quite appropriate are English. the chips are rectilinear pommes without additives, but there is a bottle of malt vinegar, salt and pepper, delicious tartaric acid provided on each table. also the claw is fresh and tasty. if they are in the mood for fish and chips, cockney kings is worth going out of the way, and it will not hurt the pocketbook either.

My grandkids have very restricted diets...grilled salmon is their favourite. I have regular halibut fish and chips...very good. Portions are very adequate! Busy place. Service is good, and quite fast!
