The atmosphere was warm and inviting. This was my first time trying authentic Indian cuisine at this restaurant. I ordered a mild lamb korma and garlic naan, and was pleasantly surprised when my friend treated me to mango lassi. Everything we tried was delicious and we all had a great dining experience.
Our family of five went to Ravneel's for a birthday dinner tonight and we are so glad we chose this little restaurant. The meals were all delicious, including the mango chicken, lamb rogan josh, vindaloo, korma, garlic naan, and rice. The owner was very friendly and passionate when describing each dish, and the flavors did not disappoint. The service was excellent and they even allowed us to bring and serve our own birthday cake. My husband, who is a fan of Indian food, was very impressed. We ordered an extra hot vindaloo, while the rest of us stuck to mild with a little extra spice, and all the dishes were perfect for our taste preferences. The prices were reasonable and the food was delightful. We will definitely be returning without a doubt.
Do not wait the chicken bhajis .. I can not choose a favorite, so make crazy and try everything! guarantee that they will not be disappointed with the food or service. the owners are the most loving people they will come over so authentic, friendly and to the earth. looking for the best Indian food in the city, served with a smile? don't look further!
From my first meal in this brilliant family-run restaurant almost 4 months ago I could not stay away! they offer great service, brilliant meals at an extremely reasonable price. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who after an exotic meal all fresh hand made and cooked by the boss/owner. I had a great selection of escape, curries, naans and gloomy, all of which were absolutely error-free.
Food is tasty enough but apparently 2 forks worth of meat in a curry is meant to be acceptable. Main meal was a soup, not a curry. No veg, barely any mean and all sauce. Beyond dissapointed for the price and then when I tried...to calmly discuss this with the staff I was literally screamed at and told I was lying. Told I was just trying to get a refund. Rudest customer service of my life. As a chef, I would hand out a written warning if a staff member served what we recieved. Absolutely unacceptable. I understand that goat can be an expensive meat but if you 're going to call it a main meal then put enough food in it to class it as a main meal and price it accordingly. Don 't wack a $20 price tag on it and expect customers to be full from 2 spoons of food. And DON 'T tell at customers when they try to talk to you about their disappointment.
