Hog's Breath Cafe Cairns

The Hickory pork fingers were incredible! The meat was so tender it fell right off the bone, and the sauce was absolutely delicious! I really should have ordered the main size. The crumbed mushrooms were also tasty! My only disappointment was that the kids' meal didn't come with curly fries, which is one of my favorite things about Hog's Breath. Instead, we received regular fries that were cold. Additionally, the burger was missing sauce.

We ordered two 300g Rump Steaks (2843 kJ each) — one cooked medium rare and the other medium. Unfortunately, both came out well done. Additionally, the curly fries that were supposed to accompany the meals turned out to be regular fries. We also ordered two Kids Chicken Nuggets meals (3120 kJ), but to our dismay, we only received two boxes with just chicken nuggets and sauce, without any fries! This was quite disappointing, especially considering the high prices. We are usually big fans of Hogs Breath Cafe, but this experience was a major letdown.

The rib fillet steaks were chewy and had thick layers of fat. The medium-well steak ordered for a child was served medium-rare.

Asked for Med Well done. Steak was still kicking, I named it Daisy. Daisy frolicked in the backyard and lived for 60years before settling back on to my plate. Was still good though.
