Christina is a wonderful waitress. Always smiling and takes excellent care of us. She is awesome. The food was good too.
The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because I can't give them 0 stars. What is the purpose of curbside pick up if you dont bring the food out to their car. Idid curbside pick up because I have 2 year old in the car that I don't want to be exposed to illness because I have a 3 week old at home. I place my order at 10:25 online shows available at 11:03 for biscuits and gravy, that's a whole different review . Call at 11 when I pull into the curbside pickup and call. I told them my name and I was there for my order. At 11:30 one hour after making my really difficult order of biscuits and gravy I go inside and they tell me it's been ready the whole time. Either take your signs down or do the service you advertise you do. 2nd worst service in Cairo close behind Walmart online pick up
Eggs were not cooked like I wanted twice and the grits were watery and the other meal was thrown together and we were not satisfied.. employees fussing loudly with each other in front of patrons..not going here for a while.
My wife and I had a late breakfast here. I can't say it was a good experience for me. Our order was taken quickly and we soon had coffee but it took a long time for the food to arrive. It's hard to mess up scrambled eggs and bacon but grits are another story. Mine was mostly water, my wife's did appear to be thicker. I should have ordered hash browns. I did have a good biscuit. Like the food, our server was slow getting a bill to the table. Actually never did bring one, I had to go and ask for it. I have to say the total surprised me. I looked at the price of the meals on the menu and thought the total would be around 20 bucks. When two cups of coffee costs 4.58 and two cups of orange juice costs 5.98, the total goes up quickly. Bringing the bill to the table would have saved me some embarrassment at the cash register because I couldn't believe the total and spoke up about it. I mean really, almost 3 bucks for a glass of orange juice. I looked at a ticket from Walmart and I bought a gallon of orange juice, not from concentrate and with pulp, for 2.50. Guess I should have looked at beverage prices too. It's the age of Covid and all the variants, I try to handle a menu as little as possible. If anyone from Huddle House reads this, please tell me why this server bothers to wears a mask if it is going to be pulled down all the time.
