Located near the pyramids, the restaurant has a unique charm that you can't miss. While the design may not be anything special, the food is definitely worth it. When we arrived, we noticed that the restaurant was bustling with Japanese tourists. The waiter recommended that we try the fish dish, and we were not disappointed.
If you're looking for a top-notch restaurant with unbeatable views, look no further than Christos. While it may not be the cheapest option (around 15 euros), the quality of the food makes it worth it. Their fish, seafood, rice, and Arab salads are all excellent choices. We had a glorious first Egyptian dinner here and highly recommend sitting on the terrace to enjoy the views. Just be aware that the lights on the pyramid will go off soon depending on the time of day.
When I was organizing my trip to Egypt, I saw that many people recommended this place and I was right to follow their advice. This restaurant is a good option if you are in the area of the Pyramids. The place is quite shabby, it must be recognized, if you are looking for a designer restaurant, this is certainly not it, but the food is worth it. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was full of Japanese tourists, so the maitre d' suggested that we go upstairs, which is a terrace with beautiful views of the Pyramids, but we opted for the dining room on the ground floor where there was air conditioning. The menu is quite simple: a fish dish (sea bass) with vegetables, rice, and fries for 50 Egyptian pounds (about 5.50 euros). If you add squid to the dish, it will cost you 60 Egyptian pounds (about 7 euros), and if you prefer the fish to be accompanied by shrimp, it will be 70 pounds (about 8 euros). For drinks, a beer, a bottle of mineral water, and a Coke cost us another 50 pounds, and for dessert, we had bananas.
