Two tips: NIE underestimate the strength of spicy food and get tons of napkins. And secondly, look for Mohamed Badawy . He will give you the best dishes and deserts.
I was at the Hilton 01/25/2020 02/01/2020 and decided to give Maharaja restaurant a try, my first time an Indian restaurant in fact. I ordered Masala Chops to load my plate. When I finished, I had only 4 bones on the plate. I loved it. I had taken my photo, the hostess Yara was very welcoming as the entire staff. I felt really good that I decided to come to Maharaja and next time in Cairo I will visit again. Thank you.

This restaurant serves a very tasty traditional Indian food. The place is beautiful and clean and the service is professional. Special thanks to Gamal Nasser who really took good care of us!
Being originally from Calcutta, I am not easily impressed with Indian food outside India. I have to make an exception here. The food is tasty with just the right amount of spices. The Ajwain Fish was delectable and the service (Gamal Nasser and his colleague whose name I forget) was impeccable. We will be dining here again during our stay.
