Zaxby's - Calera

My job was perfect. The staff wore masks and was very friendly and pleasant, which is difficult to find nowadays. Come back!

Stopped for lunch with my wife while on a road trip. Food was good and service was fast. Would have given a 2 or 3 when I saw the young blonde lady sweeping the tables with the same broom she was sweeping the floors. But thanks to Katelyn Hurst, I will give a 4. She came behind the other young lady and cleaned the entire lobby area. Thank you Katelyn.

I finished my meal in just a few minutes. The self-service soda machine was a lot of fun, allowing me to customize my drink (I went for Diet Dr. Pepper with cherry vanilla!). I ordered a large house salad with chicken for $11.75, which was great. I really love their Ranch salad dressing—make sure to ask for two packets! Everything was clean and well-kept, including the restrooms. I highly recommend this place.

We don't have a Zaxby's near our home in South Florida. During our family visit to Calera, Alabama, we had the chance to try Zaxby's for the first time. It was late at night and there was a long line, but it moved quickly! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was hot and fresh. When we got to the window, we realized that they had actually closed over 10 minutes earlier. However, that didn't stop the team from being friendly and polite while they served the last of the customers. They waited for the line to clear before closing up, which impressed us greatly. We were genuinely happy with our experience and would give them a perfect score of 10/10!

This was the biggest chicken breast sandwich I've ever had! There was so much food that I couldn't finish the fries. The service was quick and friendly, even on a busy Saturday afternoon.
