California Thai - Calgary

I visited California Thai for lunch and ordered the General Tso chicken and Satay chicken. It took a while for the food to be prepared, but it was freshly cooked. The General Tso chicken was delicious, but the Satay chicken was a bit dry.

Went here for lunch one day and found the food to be very tasty. The restaurant is very clean and you may wait a few minutes for your food, but it looks like everything is made fresh which is seldom done anymore. Is it true Thai food? No, but the flavor is definitely there and you can have it as spicy as you want. I had a chicken mango Thai salad and it was very good and no skimping on the chicken for $10. Very nice and the staff were friendly too.

I am always on the lookout for delicious food. I ordered the tom yum soup, beef pad Thai with tamarind sauce, and roasted pineapple chicken with rice. All the dishes were fantastic, except for the rice which was bland. The portions were large and affordable. The delivery arrived hot, well-packaged, and included high-quality napkins. I have fond memories of the mango chicken salad I tried a few years ago. Guests have a variety of dishes to choose from. The only downside was the expensive delivery fee, but overall it was worth it with a generous tip for the driver.

The pad thai at this restaurant is excellent, made with fresh ingredients and very reasonably priced. We had lunch there and thoroughly enjoyed it. There are also plenty of free parking spaces available.

I ordered soup, chili beef and pineapple. The soup was ok The chili beef and pineapple were tasteless. There were no spices in Chili-Rind when I told her they put some spices on their facial expressions were terrible. After that, when I tried, it was Tooo spicy. I told her I can't eat it, she didn't react. I couldn't eat it and they charged me the full price. There were no tissue papers on the table when I asked about the tissue paper she gave me only a tissue paper. The staff is very cold and poor manners will never return to this place, waste of money and time.
