Opa! of Greece Marda Loop - Calgary

Great service!! I decided to drop in again recently and was surprised to see new faces behind the counter. Perhaps new management? Whatever it was the place had a different vibe. I was served by very friendly staff that gave me exactly what I paid without being stingy. I decided to sit down and eat and noticed the place was a lot more cleaner than I could recall. I'll be going back soon.

Not the best Opa around, but Ok. I don't disagree with the comments others have made about this location; the service isn't especially good and they do seem cheap with the portions. That said, I've eaten at this location at least a dozen times, and food was always good. Strangely enough I've never seen more than two customers in this place at once...I'm surprized that it manages to stay open.<br/ <br/ Now that I've tried the new and terrible Pegasus restaruant nearby, Opa looks better than ever.

I went to pick up takeout tonight and was extremely impressed. They were very busy with orders but still very friendly and quick. This was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had from Opa!

I like to give everybody a chance I have been to this location three times. Portions are extremely small compared to other locations that I visit. I love Opa. I eat it regularly at least two times a month. I asked for extra dressing they give me a thimble full of extra at this location only, the meat is so dry. It’s like powder and it’s not hot. The tomatoes are over ripe and mushy. There’s hardly any cucumber, green pepper and onion. It is not truly a Greek salad opa style. I am very disappointed in this location and I will not be visiting it again. I will drive the 15 km if I have to, to go to my favourite opa. I will go to any other location in Calgary I will not visit the Marda Loop location Ever again.If you could leave a rating without leaving it, any stars. This location would excel. Huge fail huge disappointment.
