Papa John's Pizza - Calgary

This location was extraordinarily good. Two specialty pizzas, The Works and Buffalo Chicken, and an order of Chicken Poppers completely done in 15 minutes. The chicken was juicy, nicely peppered, and not over done. The service was prompt, professional, and staff were all relaxed, seemed to enjoy working together, and were a pleasure to interact with. All of this while getting a large order of 10-15 pizzas done and a Stampeders game an hour away across the street. The only mistake was my wife asked for buffalo dipping sauce and got garlic but given the crazy orders they were working on I’m not concerned by this. Great doing business here, I’d do it again when in Calgary.

So, I would have given a 5 for an overall positive experience, from the time we ordered, making of the food. The reason why I down graded my rating from a 5 to a 4 is due to the delivery. I ordered buffalo dip sauce, but got the garlic butter. We didn’t notice until we got to our hotel room. When I ordered, I got the buffalo chicken pizza with no onions (they did infact leave the onions out), I spacificlly asked for buffalo dip sauce (did not get), my husband ordered ‘the works’ (it came out as what he expected), mind you there was a game across the street and had a big order do there was a bit of a wait (ok sure will accept so I can understand the mishap).

Ordered a pizza to pick up before a game I wanted to watch on the telly. Pizza wasn't bad and the service was quick with no problems. Also, it was the only pizza place I could find nearby my place in the NW that was open Sunday afternoon.

Stayed at a nearby hotel and decided to give Papa John's a try. We were very pleased. Pizza came sooner than expected and was delicious! Glad we took a chance on Papa John's!
