I have been to this restaurant twice. The vegan scramble is better than the hash, but I wouldn't return for either. It appears that the only sauce they use is balsamic vinegar.
I decided to try out this restaurant for breakfast based on the positive reviews for their vegan options. The service was excellent, but unfortunately, I was not impressed with the vegan hash that I ordered. It was priced at $17 and I found the veggies to be stale and the sweet potato hash brown was not fresh or crispy as advertised. In comparison, my partner's hash was freshly crispy. There was no effort put into the dish, no sauce provided, and I had to add tomato sauce to the simple vegetables. It was priced at $9. Overall, I found it to be a pretty disappointing experience.
Terrible food. The vegan agitator was bland and boiled over. A tiny part of Tofu scramble and most of the plate was filled with salad. My partner wasn't a vegan breakfast either.
Not a bad place for brunch in Kensington. They have a vegan section on their menu. It has three items currently pancakes, tofu scramble, and a hash. I went for the hash and it was decently tasty. Somewhat pricey for the portion size $16.95), but it tasted quite fresh, and wasn't too oily or salty. The coffee was good, an organic brew, which was also somewhat pricey $3.75/cup). It wasn't too busy on a Wednesday morning and the service was friendly.
