The rice bowl was just steamed veg on rice, you had to put your own sauce on it... The washrooms were filthy... For such a good looking place & good location we were very disappointed.
I had frequented The Pint off and on for just under three years with no issues. Then on Monday, June 5th, at 1:30pm, I came in for a pint, and went to the men's room first. An unidentified younger man followed me in there (an employee I assumed), confronted me and then blocked my passage, with the question: "Can I help you?". When I asked: "Help me with what?", the man became enraged, and with offensive animated profanity, directed me to leave and never return. I was polite, then I left, and I will not return. It could have been just a rough day, or maybe the crowd in that neighborhood, but regardless of the cause I am obligated to report it to the public. I caution anyone who frequents that area, or that establishment in particular: do not move to any private or remote area unescorted. Stay visible, and stay in the crowded areas.
Draft beer isn't fresh..I ordered wings with some type of chemical sauce..taste like chicken wings from wallmart..don't know how come they called this place PINT with such a poor selection of beer that actually not fresh and taste old..and also the price tag is high for this type of food quality they should charge like Macdonald next door.
I can't complain at all about The Pint. I was expecting a sports pub and that's what I got.The wings were crispy and very flavorful. My wife & I got the Salt & Pepper wings but there's 40 varieties of sauces and rubs. We went on a Tuesday and it was during happy hour so wings were 1/2 price. $6 for an order instead of $12. Despite being really good, I don't think I'd pay full price for them when you only get 10 wings.I had the Great Canadian burger and it was delicious. The middle was medium rare which is fine with me, but I wasn't asked how well I'd like my burger done. I was a bit surprised it came that way.My wife had the steak sandwich. Her experience wasn't as good. The bread didn't appear to have any seasoning or butter on it and was hard to cut through. The thing was almost of crouton consistency in some parts. She also found the onion rings that came with the steak to be lacking in flavor.
Don't go here. I've been here multiple times, and it consistently takes over an hour to get your food. The latest visit was especially offending. Let me relegate my story. We got there at 6:45 on Taco Tuesday, and immediately ordered our beer and tacos. The beer came. The tacos didn't. So we ordered another beer, and they came. Again, no tacos. After an hour, we excitedly see our tacos come out, only to go straight to another table that came half an hour after us. We tried to cancel our food and leave, but nobody could even find our bill. Turns out our waitress left without telling us, or putting another server on our table! We left and went to home & away across the street and it was amazing!
