Red Derby In Wash - Calumet-Norvelt

Went in for the first time and it’s such a cool vibe. Love the roof. Sam was a super cool guy and bartender. The half-priced grilled cheeses were amazing. We will definitely be back! 10/10 would recommend.

Red Derby is a special place for so many reasons. The individual staff members have changed over the years that I have been a regular, but they have all been consistently excellent, and conspicuously kind. An excellent place to spend waaay too much time.

Cute little pub, even has team trivia on Wednesday nights. Cheap drinks for sure, cheapest in town.

I'm just happy that proper dive bars like this still exist. Great fun, no-frills experience. Has deals you didn't think could exist in DC. Sure wish they got rid of being able to smoke upstairs, though. It's the 21st century.

Love it here, so glad my friend showed me. Upstairs, downstairs, nice vibe. But i don't think they are paying the heating bill
