O Fao - Calvi

We had lunch here yesterday and it was excellent. O Fao is a small restaurant in the higher part of Bastia (behind the church). It is worth the walk. We shared the burrata as a starter, good taste, nice dressing. For main course we had the lasagne and aubergine. Both delicious. For dessert we had the pannacotta and mousse. To die for! We paid 85 euro for 2 threemeal courses and drinks. Friendly staff as well. Highly recommended!

We had climbed to the top of the Citadel on a very hot July day and found this wonderful restaurant run by a young couple. They were welcoming and we were given a table outside in the shade. The food was wonderful especially the pineapple crumble with a generous portion of cream. Yum yum! This was our favourite restaurant in Calvi and we will return next year. Loved it!

Superb experience at the restaurant o fao located in the heart of the citadel of calvi. warm welcome from the owners. a typical decoration of gourmet dishes. impeccable presentation for very affordable rates. everything is done at home by the beautiful morgan! the products are fresh and local. I recommend this beautiful place away from the tourist catch! See you soon!
